How can I convince my parents to let me date? They’ve told me before that it’s OK to hang out with guys and all, but they don't really want me dating them.
I have a boyfriend even though my parents don't really think I’m old enough to date yet. But I’m starting high school this fall, and it’s not even like this is my first boyfriend or anything.
I want to spend more time with this guy, so I need to tell my parents about it. What should I do … and what happens if they freak out and tell me I can't have a boyfriend anymore?

What you should do
If this guy really means something to you, than you need to tell your parents and tell them that you really like him. Find out why they don't want you to date! If they think that you are immature, show them you are mature by working on your homework without being told, cleaning the dishes without being told, or just making better choices. If they think you might do inapporpiate things, prove them you know right from wrong and you WON'T do anything wrong. Discuss this calmly and maybe explain why you really like this boy. I hope this helps!
